Community Champions introduce community groups, clubs and
organisations to easy environmental actions they can take. They help
the group decide on an action plan. And they help them get it
underway.
Your Community Champion will arrange to visit your groups and take
you through the Every Action Counts process, which has 4 stages.
1.- Presentation of Every Action Counts, who is involved, what you
could do to help and why your group should be involved. It is low
tech and suitable for small groups of people.
2.- Your group will be asked to take stock of what they are doing
already. Many groups may well have done quite a lot of work on
reducing their impact on the planet, which is great. This stage
captures the current picture and shows you what to do next.
3.- Your group then decides which area to tackle first, using a
unique game which includes everyone.
4.- You will then produce your group’s very own action plan with
actions that you have decided are important to your group.
